Springbank 1997 SMWS 27.70 is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Springbank distillery in Campbeltown, Scotland. It was distilled in 1997 and bottled by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society (SMWS) in June 2018. This whisky has a deep golden colour and a nose of ripe fruits, vanilla, honey and toffee. On the palate, it is rich and sweet with notes of sherry, toffee and spices. The finish is long and lingering with a hint of smoke. This is a great whisky to enjoy neat or with a few drops of water.
