The whisky was matured in a refill sherry hogshead for 17 years before being bottled in 2013 by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society. The whisky has an ABV of 58.4%. On the nose, this whisky has aromas of sweet honey, dried fruit, toffee, and spice. On the palate, it has flavors of dried figs, toasted almonds, orange zest, and a hint of smoke. The finish is long and sweet, with a lingering smokiness.
