Springbank 1996
Springbank 1996 is a single malt Scotch whisky produced by Springbank Distillers in Campbeltown, Scotland. It was distilled in 1996 and bottled in 2014 at 46% ABV. The whisky was matured for 18 years in a combination of refill sherry and ex-bourbon barrels. It has a deep golden color and a nose of vanilla, honey, and dried fruits. On the palate, it has notes of oak, spices, and a hint of smoke. It's a smooth, complex whisky with a long, lingering finish.
