Rattray Springbank 1993 AD Rattray is a single malt Scotch whisky produced by Springbank Distillers in Campbeltown, Scotland. The whisky was distilled in 1993 and released in 2012. It was aged for 19 years in a combination of refill sherry, refill bourbon and first fill sherry casks. It was bottled at 46% ABV without chill-filtration and no added colouring. The whisky has a deep golden colour and a complex aroma of honey, toffee, dried fruits, nuts and spices. On the palate, it is smooth and creamy with notes of malt, toasted oak, dark chocolate, dried fruits, and spices. The finish is long and sweet with a hint of smoke. This whisky is a great example of Springbank's signature style and is perfect for sipping neat or in a whisky cocktail.
