Springbank 1989 SMWS 27.53
Springbank 1989 SMWS 27.53 was distilled in 1989 and bottled in 2017 by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society (SMWS). It was matured in a refill hogshead for 28 years and bottled at cask strength of 56.4% ABV. The whisky has a nose of toffee apples, dried fruits, caramel and sweet spices. On the palate, it is sweet and spicy with notes of honey, ginger, oak and dried fruit. The finish is long and smooth with a hint of spice.
