Springbank 1974
Springbank 1974 is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Campbeltown region of Scotland. It was distilled in 1974 and bottled in 2019 at the age of 45 years old. It was matured in a combination of refill and ex-bourbon barrels. It is a limited edition release, with only 1,800 bottles produced. The whisky has a deep amber colour and a nose of dried fruit, honey, toffee, malt, and a hint of smoke. On the palate, the whisky is smooth and creamy with notes of toffee, dried fruit, and sherry. The finish is long and sweet with hints of oak and spice.
