Springbank 1974
Springbank 1974 is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Springbank distillery in Campbeltown, Scotland. It was distilled in 1974 and bottled in 2006, after 32 years of maturation in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. It is one of the oldest and rarest Springbank whiskies ever released and has become highly sought after by whisky connoisseurs. The whisky has a rich golden colour and a nose of sweet sherry and dried fruit. On the palate, it is smooth and mellow, with a hint of smoke and a long, sweet finish. It is a complex whisky with a truly unique character.
