Springbank 1970 IM
C Springbank 1970 IMC is a limited-edition single malt Scotch whisky from the Springbank distillery in Campbeltown, Scotland. It was distilled in 1970 and bottled in 2011. It was aged for 41 years in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. The whisky has an ABV of 46.8% and it has a deep golden color. On the nose, it has aromas of honey, dried fruit, and a hint of smoke. On the palate, it has flavors of oak, dried fruit, and a hint of peat. The finish is long and smooth with a hint of spice. It is a complex and well-balanced whisky that is a delight to experience.
