Springbank 1968 WF is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown, Scotland. It is a limited-edition bottling, with only 2,500 bottles released. It was distilled in 1968 and bottled forty-five years later in 2013. It was aged in ex-sherry hogsheads and bottled at cask strength, with an ABV of 57.7%. The whisky has a deep golden color and the nose is full of rich sherry, dried fruits, and spices. On the palate, there are notes of sweet sherry, dried fruits, spices, and leather. The finish is long and complex with a hint of smoke. This whisky is a great example of the classic style of whisky from the Springbank Distillery.
