It was aged for 43 years in a combination of sherry and bourbon casks, before being bottled at cask strength. The whisky has a deep golden color and a nose of dried fruits, toffee, and spice. On the palate, it is rich and full-bodied, with flavors of dried fruits, toffee, spice, and oak. The finish is long and smooth, with notes of vanilla, oak, and spice.
