Springbank 1967 Distiller's Edition is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown, Scotland. It was bottled in 1997 and is a limited edition release of only 8,000 bottles. The whisky was aged for 30 years in two different types of casks, sherry and bourbon, before being finished in a sherry cask. It is bottled at a strength of 46% ABV. The whisky has a deep golden color and a rich, complex nose of dried fruits, nuts, and spices. On the palate, it has a full-bodied, creamy texture with notes of toffee, vanilla, and oak. The finish is long and warming, with a hint of smoke. Springbank 1967 Distiller's Edition is a highly sought-after whisky and is considered to be one of the best releases from the distillery.
