Springbank 1966
Springbank 1966 is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Campbeltown distillery of Springbank. It was distilled in 1966 and bottled in 2008 at the age of 42 years old. It was bottled at a strength of 46.7% ABV and was non-chill filtered. The whisky is described as having a "rich, complex nose of sherry, leather, toffee and dried fruits." On the palate, it is said to have a "rich, creamy texture with notes of dark chocolate, dried fruits and a hint of smoke and spices." The finish is described as "long and lingering with a hint of peat smoke."
