Springbank 1965
Springbank 1965 is a single malt Scotch whisky that was distilled in 1965 at the Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown, Scotland. It is considered to be one of the oldest and rarest Springbank whiskies ever released. The whisky was aged for 35 years in a combination of sherry and bourbon casks before being bottled in 2000. It has an ABV of 43.4%. The whisky has a deep golden hue and a complex nose of dried fruits, toffee, and spices. On the palate, it is rich and full-bodied with notes of dried fruits, honey, and oak. The finish is long and lingering with hints of smoke and spices.
