Springbank 12-year-old is a single malt Scotch whisky produced in Campbeltown, Scotland. It is produced by the Springbank Distillery, which is the oldest independent family-owned distillery in Scotland. This whisky is a vatting of whiskies aged for 12 years in a combination of ex-bourbon, ex-sherry and ex-wine casks. It has a light golden colour and a unique aroma of honey, heather, peat smoke and spices. On the palate, it is smooth and creamy with a hint of smoke and a subtle sweetness. The finish is long and smooth with a lingering smokiness.
