Mortlach 1957 GM
Mortlach 1957 GM is a single malt Scotch whisky released by Gordon & MacPhail. It was distilled in 1957 at the Mortlach Distillery in Dufftown, Speyside and bottled in 2019. It is a rare and limited edition whisky, with only 772 bottles released worldwide. The whisky was matured in first-fill sherry casks and bottled at a strength of 46.2% ABV. The whisky has a deep golden colour, with aromas of honey, toffee, dried fruits and spice. On the palate, it is sweet and full-bodied, with notes of toffee, honey, dark chocolate, dried fruits and spice. The finish is long and warming, with a hint of smoke.
