The Macallan Travel Series 1950's is a limited edition whisky released by The Macallan in 2020. The whisky was created to celebrate the brand’s long-standing commitment to travel and exploration. The series consists of three whiskies, each of which is inspired by the style of whisky produced in the 1950s. The whiskies are made using a combination of ex-sherry casks and ex-bourbon casks, and are bottled at natural strength. The whiskies are non-chill filtered and have no added color. The series includes The Macallan Travel Series 1950’s Edition, The Macallan Travel Series 1950’s Edition 2, and The Macallan Travel Series 1950’s Edition 3. Each whisky has a unique flavor profile, with the first two whiskies featuring notes of dried fruits, toffee, and spices, and the third whisky featuring notes of honey, orange, and oak.
