ibbon’s Provenance Macallan 1998 McGibbon's Provenance is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Macallan distillery in Speyside, Scotland. It was distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2020. It is a limited-edition expression, part of the McGibbon's Provenance series. The whisky has been matured in a combination of Sherry-seasoned American oak and ex-bourbon barrels. It is bottled at 40% ABV and has a deep amber color. On the nose, it has notes of dried fruit, toffee, and spice. On the palate, there are notes of honey, oak, and dried fruit. The finish is long and smooth with a hint of spice.
