Macallan 1997 SV
Macallan 1997 SV is a single malt Scotch whisky from the renowned Speyside distillery. It was released on the 15th anniversary of the Macallan Special Vintages series, which was first launched in 1983. This whisky has been matured in a combination of Sherry and bourbon casks, and is bottled at 43% ABV. It has a deep, complex aroma of dried fruits, honey and oak, with notes of vanilla and spice. The palate is smooth and creamy, with an intensity of dried fruits, nutmeg and oak. The finish is long and warming, with a lingering sweetness.
