Macallan 1997 DT
Macallan 1997 Distiller's Edition is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Macallan Distillery. It was aged for 12 years in American oak casks before being finished in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks. The whisky has a deep amber color and a nose of dried fruits and sherry. On the palate, it is smooth and sweet with notes of dried fruit, toffee, and sherry. The finish is long and flavorful with a hint of spice. This is a great whisky for those who appreciate the complexity of a well-aged single malt.
