Macallan 1997 DoD (Distillers of Distinction) is a single malt Scotch whisky from The Macallan Distillery. It was distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2011 at a natural cask strength of 53.5% ABV. The whisky was matured in a mix of ex-Sherry and ex-Bourbon casks, giving it a complex and full-bodied flavor profile. The whisky has a deep golden color, with aromas of dried fruits, cinnamon, and vanilla, and flavors of toffee, raisins, and oak. The finish is long and smooth, with a hint of smokiness.
