Macallan 1996 GM is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Macallan Distillery in Scotland. This whisky was distilled in 1996 and bottled in 2020. It was aged for 24 years in a combination of ex-Sherry and ex-Bourbon casks. It has a deep golden color and a rich, complex flavor profile. Notes of dried fruits, nuts, and spices are complemented by a hint of smoke. The finish is long and smooth, with a lingering sweetness. This is a great whisky to enjoy neat or with a splash of water.
