Macallan 1996 GM
Macallan 1996 GM is a single malt whisky from the Macallan distillery in Scotland. It was released in 1996 and is part of the distillery's General Managers' Selection series. The whisky is aged for 18 years in a combination of sherry casks and American oak casks. It has a deep mahogany color and a rich, complex aroma of dried fruits, spices, and oak. The palate is full-bodied and smooth with flavors of dried fruits, toasted nuts, and vanilla. The finish is long and lingering with notes of spice and oak. Macallan 1996 GM is an excellent whisky for sipping and savoring.
