Macallan 1988 SV is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Macallan Distillery. It was bottled in 2008 at cask strength of 56.9% ABV, and is part of the Special Vintages series. The whisky is made from a combination of sherry and bourbon casks, and is said to have a complex flavor profile with notes of dried fruits, toffee, and spices. It is a limited edition, with only 4,000 bottles released.
