The Macallan 1988 SMD (Special Millennium Decanter) is a special edition single malt whisky distilled in 1988. It was released to commemorate the new millennium and is presented in a beautiful crystal decanter. The whisky is a blend of Macallan's finest whiskies, aged between 15 and 20 years in a combination of sherry and bourbon casks. It has a deep, rich flavor with notes of dried fruit, sherry, oak, and spice. The finish is smooth and long lasting.
