Macallan 1988 MI
RA Macallan 1988 MIRA is a limited edition single malt Scotch whisky from the Macallan Distillery. It was released in 2018 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Macallan MIRA project. The Macallan MIRA project was launched in 1988 with the aim of creating a whisky that was a true reflection of the Macallan style. The Macallan 1988 MIRA is a marriage of whiskies aged for at least 30 years in a combination of European and American oak casks. It has a deep golden color and a complex flavor profile of dried fruits, toffee, and spices. It is bottled at 43% ABV and has an RRP of around £1,000.
