Macallan 1988 AD
Macallan 1988 AD is a limited edition single malt Scotch whisky released in 2008 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the founding of the distillery. It was distilled in 1988 and aged for 19 years in ex-sherry casks. The whisky has a deep mahogany color and a complex aroma of dried fruits, nuts, and spices. On the palate, it has flavors of toffee, sherry, and oak, with a long, smooth finish. The whisky is bottled at cask strength, making it a powerful and flavorful dram.
