Macallan 1987 SV
Macallan 1987 SV is a limited edition single malt Scotch whisky from the Macallan distillery. This whisky was released in 2007 to celebrate the distillery's 200th anniversary. It is a vatting of whiskies aged in sherry casks, with the oldest whisky in the blend being 40 years old. The whisky has a rich, fruity nose with notes of honey, raisins, and toffee. On the palate, it is smooth and sweet with flavors of dark chocolate, dried fruits, and toasted nuts. The finish is long and complex with a hint of smoke.
