ibbon's Provenance Macallan 1986 McGibbon's Provenance is a limited edition single malt Scotch whisky from the Macallan distillery. It was distilled in 1986 and bottled in 2015. It was matured for 28 years in a combination of Sherry and American oak casks. The whisky has a deep golden color and a nose of dried fruits, toffee, and subtle notes of oak and spice. On the palate, it is smooth and sweet with flavors of toasted almonds, dried fruits, and a hint of oak and spice. The finish is long and lingering, with a hint of smoke. This whisky is a great example of the quality and craftsmanship of the Macallan distillery.
