Macallan 1980
Macallan 1980 is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Macallan Distillery in the Speyside region of Scotland. It was distilled in 1980 and was bottled in 2004, making it 24 years old. It was matured in a combination of sherry and bourbon casks. The whisky has a deep amber colour and a complex aroma of dried fruits, spices, and oak. It has a smooth, rich, and full-bodied taste with notes of dried fruits, toffee, and spices. The finish is long and lingering with a hint of smoke.
