Macallan 1979 DL
Macallan 1979 DL is a single malt Scotch whisky distilled in 1979 and bottled in 2020 by the Macallan Distillery in Speyside, Scotland. The whisky is part of the distillery's Rare Cask series, which is made up of whiskies from exceptional casks that have been carefully selected by the Macallan's Master Distillers. This particular whisky was matured in a combination of sherry-seasoned American oak and European oak casks, giving it a rich, full-bodied flavor. The whisky has notes of dried fruit, toffee, spice, and leather, and is finished with a hint of smoke. It is bottled at a strength of 43% ABV and is packaged in a wooden presentation box.
