Macallan 1976 DL
Macallan 1976 DL is a limited-edition single malt Scotch whisky from the Macallan distillery. It was distilled in 1976 and bottled in 1996, after 20 years of maturation in a combination of Spanish oak sherry casks and American oak hogsheads. The whisky has a deep golden color and a rich, complex aroma of dried fruits, toffee, and spices. On the palate, notes of oak, dried fruits, and sweet spices are complemented by a hint of peat smoke. The finish is long and smooth, with a lingering sweetness. This rare whisky is highly sought after and is a prized addition to any whisky collection.
