Macallan 1969 SMD
Macallan 1969 SMD is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Macallan Distillery in Speyside, Scotland. It was distilled in 1969 and bottled in the late 1980s. It was part of the Speciality Drinks Ltd (SDL) range, which was a series of single cask bottlings from the Macallan distillery. The whisky was bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 50.2%. The whisky has a deep golden colour, with notes of dried fruit, toffee and a touch of smoke on the nose. On the palate, there are notes of honey, spices, dried fruit and a hint of oak. The finish is long and smooth, with a hint of smoke.
