Macallan 1851 Inspiration is a single malt Scotch whisky from The Macallan Distillery. It is a limited edition release that celebrates the history of the distillery, which dates back to 1851. The whisky is made using a combination of sherry-seasoned American oak and European oak casks, and is bottled at 43% ABV. On the nose, it has notes of dried fruits, orange marmalade, and dark chocolate. On the palate, it has notes of honey, toasted almonds, and dried fruits, and a hint of smoke. The finish is long and lingering, with a hint of spice.
