Longrow 1996
Longrow 1996 is a single malt Scotch whisky from Springbank distillery, located in Campbeltown, Scotland. It was distilled in 1996 and bottled in 2008. The whisky was matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks. It has a deep golden color and a nose of sweet sherry, dried fruits, and spices. On the palate, there are notes of honey, vanilla, and toasted oak. The finish is long and sweet, with a hint of peat smoke. This is an excellent whisky, perfect for sipping neat or in a classic Scotch cocktail.
