Longrow 1974
Longrow 1974 is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown, Scotland. It was distilled in 1974 and bottled in 2008, making it one of the oldest Longrow expressions ever released. It was aged for 34 years in a combination of sherry and bourbon casks, and bottled at a cask strength of 51.9% ABV. It has a deep golden color and an aroma of rich fruits, toffee, and spices. On the palate, it has a sweet and spicy flavor with notes of honey, toffee, dried fruits, and oak. The finish is long and smooth with a hint of smokiness.
