Longrow 1974
Longrow 1974 is a single malt Scotch whisky from Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown, Scotland. Distilled in 1974, it was matured for 12 years in a mix of sherry and bourbon casks before being bottled at cask strength in 1986. This whisky has a deep golden color and a robust, full-bodied flavor. On the nose, it has notes of dried fruits, spices, and smoky peat. On the palate, it has a velvety texture with flavors of honey, toasted nuts, and dark chocolate. The finish is long and warming, with a hint of smoke and peat.
