Laphroaig 21-year-old Heathrow
Laphroaig 21-year-old Heathrow is a limited edition single malt Scotch whisky from the Islay distillery. It was released to commemorate the opening of the new Terminal 5 at London Heathrow Airport in 2008. This expression is matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks and bottled at a strength of 46% ABV. The whisky has a deep golden colour, with aromas of smoke, seaweed, and dried fruit. On the palate, the whisky is sweet and smoky, with notes of honey, vanilla, and spices. The finish is long and complex, with a hint of peat smoke and a hint of sweetness.
