Laphroaig 1976
Laphroaig 1976 is a limited edition single malt Scotch whisky produced by Laphroaig Distillery in Islay, Scotland. It was released in 2012 to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the distillery's founding. The whisky is a blend of malt whiskies distilled in 1976 and 1977 and has been matured for 35 years in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. The whisky has a deep golden color and a complex flavor profile with notes of peat smoke, toffee, dried fruits, spice, and a hint of salt. The finish is long and smooth with a hint of smoky peat. This whisky is highly sought after and is considered to be one of the best whiskies ever produced by Laphroaig.
