Kawasaki 1982
Kawasaki 1982 was a model year for Kawasaki motorcycles. It saw the introduction of the KZ1000J, a new version of the popular KZ1000. The J model featured a new frame, suspension, and engine. The engine was an air-cooled, four-stroke transverse four-cylinder with a displacement of 998 cc. It had a top speed of 125 mph and a maximum power output of 81.5 hp at 8,500 rpm. The KZ1000J was the basis for the popular Kawasaki GPz1100, which was introduced in 1983. Other models introduced in 1982 included the GPz750, KX125, KX250, and KZ750.
