Kawasaki 1981 PDA
The Kawasaki 1981 PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) is a handheld computer developed by Kawasaki Heavy Industries in 1981. It was the first commercially available PDA and the first device to use a touch screen. It featured a built-in 8-bit processor, a 5-inch monochrome LCD display, and a rechargeable battery. It also had a built-in calculator, a clock, and a calendar. The device was intended to be used for business and personal information management, and could store up to 200 pages of data. It was released in Japan and the United States, and was later released in Europe and other countries.
