Karuizawa 1995
Karuizawa 1995 is a single malt whisky from the Karuizawa distillery in Japan. It was distilled in 1995 and bottled in 2014, making it one of the oldest whiskies from the distillery. The whisky is made from a blend of malted barley and peated malt, and is aged for 19 years in ex-sherry casks. The result is a whisky with intense smoky and sweet notes, with notes of toffee, raisins, and spices. The whisky is highly sought after and is considered to be one of the best Japanese whiskies ever made.
