Karuizawa 1994
Karuizawa 1994 is a Japanese single malt whisky from the Karuizawa Distillery, which closed in 2000. The whisky was distilled in 1994 and bottled in 2011 by the Number One Drinks Company. It has a deep amber color and a complex, woody aroma with notes of honey, dried fruit, and spices. On the palate, it is smooth and mellow with a long finish. The whisky has won numerous awards, including a Gold Medal at the International Spirits Challenge in 2011.
