Karuizawa 1990
Karuizawa 1990 is a single malt whisky from the Karuizawa distillery in Japan. It was distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2013. It is a limited edition release, with only 602 bottles produced. The whisky is a vatting of ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks and is bottled at cask strength of 61.8% alcohol by volume. The whisky is described as having a deep aroma of dark chocolate, dried fruits, and spices, with a palate of leather, tobacco, and dried fruit, and a long finish of oak and smoke.
