Karuizawa 17-year-old
Karuizawa 17-year-old is a single malt whisky from the Karuizawa Distillery, located in the foothills of Mount Asama in Japan. It is one of the oldest and rarest Japanese whiskies, having been distilled in 2000 and bottled in 2017. The whisky is made with malt from the distillery's own barley fields and is aged in a combination of sherry and bourbon casks. It has a delicate and fruity aroma, with notes of honey, caramel and vanilla, and a smooth, mellow finish. It is an incredibly rare whisky, and only a few bottles remain in circulation.
