Hanyu 1990 is a brand of Japanese whisky that was launched in 1990 by the Hanyu Distillery. It is produced in the small town of Hanyu, in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. The whisky is made with a blend of malt and grain whiskies and aged in a combination of Japanese and American oak barrels. It is known for its smooth and mellow taste, with notes of honey, caramel, and spice. The whisky has earned numerous awards, including a Gold Medal at the International Wine & Spirits Competition in 2003.
