Hanyu 1988
Hanyu 1988 was a Japanese whisky produced by the Hanyu Distillery. It was a limited edition release of just 500 bottles, and was made from a blend of malt and grain whiskies aged for at least 20 years. The whisky was aged in sherry casks and bottled at cask strength, with an ABV of 55.6%. The whisky was released in 2008 and was highly sought after due to its rarity. It was described as having a nose of dried fruits, nuts, and spices, with a palate of rich dried fruits and a long, smooth finish.
