Glenfarclas 1961
Glenfarclas 1961 is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Glenfarclas distillery in the Speyside region of Scotland. It is a part of the distillery's Family Cask range, which consists of rare and vintage single malt whiskies from the distillery's extensive collection of casks. This whisky was distilled in 1961 and bottled in 2007 after having been matured in a single Sherry butt cask. It is a limited edition bottling, with only 576 bottles produced. The whisky has a deep golden hue and a nose of dried fruits, toffee, and sherry. On the palate, it is full-bodied and rich, with notes of dried fruits, toffee, and sherry, along with a hint of spice. The finish is long and smooth, with a hint of oak.
