Glenfarclas 1959
Glenfarclas 1959 is a limited edition single malt whisky that was released by the Glenfarclas Distillery in Scotland in 2009. It is a cask strength whisky, meaning that it was bottled at its natural strength of 59.2% alcohol by volume. The whisky was aged in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks for a minimum of 50 years, and was bottled in a limited edition of only 600 bottles, making it a highly sought-after collector's item. The whisky has an intense, sweet and complex flavor, with notes of dried fruits, toffee, and sherry. It is a smooth, full-bodied whisky with a long, lingering finish.
