Glendronach 1971
Glendronach 1971 is a single cask single malt Scotch whisky from the Glendronach Distillery in the Scottish Highlands. It was distilled in 1971 and bottled in 2011, making it 40 years old. It was aged in a Pedro Ximenez Sherry Puncheon cask and bottled at a cask strength of 56.2% ABV. It is a limited edition release of only 639 bottles. The whisky has a deep amber color and a complex aroma of dried fruits, honey, and spices. On the palate, it is rich and full-bodied, with flavors of dark chocolate, dried fruits, and spices. The finish is long and smooth, with a hint of oak and sherry.
