Glen Garioch 1968
Glen Garioch 1968 is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Glen Garioch distillery in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. This whisky was distilled in 1968, and bottled in 1997. It was aged for 29 years in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. It is a limited edition bottling with only 1,000 bottles released. The whisky has a deep golden hue and a nose of honey, spices, and dried fruits. On the palate, there are notes of dried fruits, toffee, and a hint of smoke. The finish is long and smooth, with a hint of spice. This whisky is a great example of a classic Speyside single malt.
